GENERAL VOTING QUESTIONS

How do I vote?

Voting is simple! Visit https://innovation.naseni.gov.ng/voting-home/ , click on the state image and vote for your favorite contestant. Make sure you have a stable internet connection before you begin. 

Who can vote?

Anyone can vote, friends, family, colleagues, and supporters of the contestants are all welcome to participate. Spread the word and encourage everyone to vote for their favorite innovator! 

How many times can I vote?

You are allowed one (1) vote per state.

TECHNICAL ISSUES

Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and try refreshing your browser. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Safari). If you are still experiencing issues, kindly reach out to us via email.

The voting video is not displaying or is playing for only a few seconds. What should I do?

This is often caused by a slow or unstable internet connection. Please check your connection and try reloading the page. If the issue continues, try switching to a different browser or device.

A contestant's name or information appears incorrect on the platform. What should I do?

Please send an email to our communications team with the correct details. We will work with our technical team to review and update the information as quickly as possible.

I am unable to cast my vote. What steps should I take?

Try the following steps: 

  1. Confirm you have a working internet connection.
  2. Refresh the page and try again.
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  4. Try a different browser or device.
  5. If none of the above works, send us an email with your name, state, and a brief description of the issue, and our tech team will assist you.
Will the platform show me the voting progress of each finalist?

Yes, it shows you the progress in percentages, kindly also note that results are shown live, you will notice reduction or increase in finalist percentage as voting is still on going.

VOTING INTEGRITY & FAIR PLAY

I noticed a surge in votes for a contestant at an unusual time. Is this normal?

Our voting platform has a robust internal system designed to detect and flag irregular voting activity, including sudden vote surges. All flagged activity is reviewed by our technical team. Votes confirmed to be fraudulent will be voided.

Can I use multiple browsers or clone my browser to vote more than once?

No. Our system is specifically designed to detect and block this. Any attempt to use clone browsers, VPNs, bots, or other methods to cast multiple votes is considered a violation of our voting rules. Contestants whose supporters engage in this behavior will be automatically disqualified from the competition.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON VOTING INTEGRITY

Our internal voting system is equipped with advanced fraud detection technology. Any participant whose supporters are found to be using bots, clone browsers, VPNs, or any form of automated or repeated voting will be automatically disqualified. We are committed to a fair and transparent process for all.

OTHER QUERIES

I want to change my state's representative. How do I go about it?

Requests for change of representative should be directed to our Programmes Team. Please send a formal email with the details of the change and the reason for the request.

The finalist vote percentages seem inconsistent. What is going on?

Vote percentages update in real time as votes come in and may appear to fluctuate during active voting periods. Our technical team continuously monitors the platform to ensure accuracy.
