A: Voting is simple! Visit https://innovation.naseni.gov.ng/voting-home/ ,click on the state image and vote for your favorite contestant. Make sure you have a stable internet connection before you begin. 

Voting is simple! To enhance transparency and prevent fraud, we have added a new security feature to our voting process. Before you begin, please make sure you have a stable internet connection. 

 

How to vote: 

  1. Visit https://innovation.naseni.gov.ng/voting-home/ 
  2. Click on the state image and select your favorite contestant. 
  3. Enter your email address and verify that you are not a robot. 
  4. Click "Vote." 
  5. Check your email inbox for a verification message and click "Confirm Vote." 

 

Please note: Your vote will only be counted once you complete the final email confirmation step. This ensures all votes are valid and secure. 

 

  • All applicants are expected to submit
    • An application via the NASENI Innovation Hub Website.(https://innovation.naseni.gov.ng).
    • A  2 minute video pitch via instagram and twitter showcasing their innovation and its societal impact and tagging NASENI and NASENI Innovation Hub on Instagram (@nasenihq, @nasenhub), and on  X, formerly known as Twitter (@NASENIHQ, @Nasenihub).
    • Using the following mandatory hashtags: #InnovateNaija, #NASENI #NASENIInnovationHub #YouthInnovation #NASENIImpact.

A: You are allowed one (1) vote per person.

If the issue persists, try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Safari). A: This is often caused by a slow or unstable internet connection. Please check your connection and try reloading the page. If the issue continues, try switching to a different browser or device.

A: Try the following steps: 

  1. Confirm thatyou have a working internet connection. 
  2. Refresh the page and try again.
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  4. Try a different browser or device.
  5. If none of the above works, send us an email with your name, state, and a brief description of the issue, and our tech team willassistyou. 

 

A: Our voting platform has a robust internal system designed to detect and flag irregular voting activity, including sudden vote surges. All flagged activities are reviewed by our technical team. Votes confirmed to be fraudulent will be voided. 

A: No. Our system is specifically designed to detect and block this. Any attempt to use clone browsers, VPNs, bots, or other methods to cast multiple votes is considered a violation of our voting rules. Contestants whose supporters engage in this behavior will be automatically disqualified from the competition. 

A: Please send an email to our communications team with the correct details. We will work with our technical team to review and update the information as quickly as possible. 

A: At this stage of the challenge, a change of representative is not permitted. However, in exceptional cases involving natural or uncontrollable circumstances that make the current representative unavailable, a formal request can be submitted to the Project Team. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

A: Vote percentages update in real time as votes come in and may appear to fluctuate during active voting periodsAlso note that all finalists within a state share an aggregate total of 100%, a. A drop in one finalist percentage can occur when there is a significant surge in verified votes cast for another finalist within that state. Our technical team continuously monitors the platform to ensure accuracy. A: We understand your view that a restart of the voting process would be the most equitable solution. However, after careful consideration, we have determined that restarting the process is not the most viable approach given the progress made and the efforts already invested by all participants. 

 

 Our technical team is conducting a daily audit of all voting activities on the platform, reviewing data directly from the backend to ensure integrity. This ongoing process involves carefully identifying and filtering out any irregular or suspicious activity. Please be assured that any finalists found to have engaged in or benefited from artificial or unauthorized voting practices will face disqualification.

A:  Kindly ensure you have a stable internet connection when casting your vote. After selecting your preferred participant and submitting your vote, please check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for the confirmation message. Click on “Confirm my vote” in the email to complete the process. You will then be redirected back to the voting page where you should see the message: “Thank you, your vote has been casted.”  
 
If you do not see the confirmation email, try refreshing your inbox. If the issue persists, you may attempt the process again. Should you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us via email for further support. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON VOTING INTEGRITY

Our internal voting system is equipped with advanced fraud detection technology. Any participant whose supporters are found to be using bots, clone browsers, VPNs, or any form of automated or repeated voting will be automatically disqualified. We are committed to a fair and transparent process for all.
